School's out for the summer! And that means restless kids and anxious parents. Don't think I'm exempt from the school year vs. summer activity dilemma...just because my kids are 3 and 1. Daughter has enough going on through the school year to make your head spin, no doubt blazing a trail for brother.
With a vast quantity of free time in July and August, I have been wracking my mind for new and exciting things to do, learn and teach. I seem to have found a pretty cool solution.
I found a website online featuring a teach-at-home preschool program. Called 1-2-3 Preschool, it offers a month's worth of activities and lessons broken down into daily sessions. Complete with a newsletter offering additional learning opportunities such as relevant songs, book titles, etc.
I highly recommend this product if at least for just a months worth of sanity or inspiration. At only $13 (+s&h) it's certainly worth the time saved in preparation and research. What I love is the basic guideline that will allow for as much additional teaching as you are up for.
If you're unsure, you can download a FREE! example project from their website: 123 Preschool. Check it out, let me know what you think!
I would love to check out the 123 Preschool stuff in person. I have seen their site and wanted to actually see the stuff in person to see if it was worth the money!
ReplyDeleteI saw they had an ice cream project on their site this month for free. Did you get that one sent to you?
Doretta, I printed the ice cream project off from online. You are welcome to check out my pack. I think it's pretty cool, well organized and inclusive.
