Ok, one more reason to LOVE Shutterfly...
I just made the kids a book called My Daddy is a Firefighter. I spent a couple days taking a bunch of random shots around his fire house and assembled them all into a book to help the kids learn about what he does, calling 9-1-1 and identification of apparatus, tools and whatever.
We just sat down with the kids today to read it to them and they are literally fighting over it. They have read it half a dozen times this morning already and can't get enough of seeing their daddy (and a pic of themselves) in an actual story book.
The best part is that I got to totally customize it and included information about how firefighters wear big bunker gear that isn't scary, but instead means someone is there to help. And I also included a picture in the back of our home phone dial pad so the kids can learn how to call 9-1-1 from our home phone.
