LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS
Why do I always have music lyrics in my head? Anyway, I'm excited to have finally crafted some boy stuff. You'd think it would be easier, since um, I have one? But just as it's easier to shop for girls, it's easier to sew for them too.
My "boys line" (if you will) consists of capes and t-capes and hats to encourage and indulge your little Boy Wonder. My 2-year-old is already delighted to spin around the kitchen floor holding his cape out for effect. T-capes are adorned t-shirts with a velcro cape attachment. The cool thing about these capes are the super soft fleece and fun colors. The full sized capes could double as a car blanket. The t-capes add an extra layer of warmth under coats.
The fleece hats are simple fleece but add a level of style that you won't find on every head at the playground this winter.
As always, I'm having a blast on my renewed creative endeavors and would love to personalize or customize your purchases. Send me a note to let me know what you're looking for or to offer ideas. I'll try my hand at anything. The J-Man is wearing a personalized fleece cape ($12). Cape is approx 26" long. He is 34in tall.

Yet another ever so clever idea!!! I love it! Ezra is going to love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThe capes are a great idea, Brienna. My boys have about 5 capes in different colors that my mom made them for Christmas last year and they are the MOST played with items we own! Before that they used to use my kitchen towels!
ReplyDeleteSooooooo cute!!! How is Etsy? You've got it girl!!
