I THINK IT'S HERE

The sun, I mean. We've finally been getting the weather we've all been waiting for. You know me, I hate to be cold. Hate it! I always have a sweatshirt in the car, sleep with a down comforter nearly year round. And when it's warm, I celebrate -- barefoot and barely dressed, outside and sun soaked in all it's ultraviolet glory.

Just a week ago, I was in my Uggs and a down vest to take my boy outside. What is wrong with this picture? Let's not even start on the fact that my tomatoes look like death and I'll be forking over another $10 on starts. Fifty degrees in may is a bit cold. And it makes me cranky.

As much as my hopes have jumped, it still seems a bit touch and go with a few fall-style rain storms, and cool sunny days, but I'm ready for the sun, that I'm very willing to be optimistic. Although, last I checked this morning, it's only 54 degrees outside. But I'm dressed to sun in my swimsuit, trying to undo the pastiness that has taken over my body for the last several months.

With this late spring arrival, does this mean we'll have 80 degree days through October? Here's hoping.
