ROCKING THE 2-MINUTE RULE

I picked this up somewhere, a friend perhaps? A magazine article? I don't remember. The 2-minute rule allows kids who are fighting over the same toy to have a 2-minute turn before handing it off to the other.

I LOVE this rule. Not only does it work insanely well, but Sis actually things it's fun to share with Buddy. Surprisingly, at only 17mos, Buddy is getting the hang of it too and it is drastically reducing the whining and crying in the house. Sis is especially interested since she has started to read the clock and now watches out for her own 2-minute turn.

I don't know what took me so long to start using it. But it works. And anything that contributes to peace in the kingdom ROCKS.
