What an odd treat to enjoy the fair alone. It almost goes against it's purpose.Our Western Washington Fair has routinely offers a free opening morning and I jumped at the chance to get there and get shooting. Although I missed the joy and delight at seeing my kids squeal at the animals and giggle on the rides, I can't think of a more nostalgic backdrop for honing my photo skills. The colors and activities were irresistible.
