Pairing a beach vacation with back-to-back days at theme parks sounds like a tall order, and there is a chance we would make a few tweaks on our next trip to SoCal - like a free day between theme parks and returning the rental car to the same airport we got it from (which would have saved us $50).
But all in all, we had a great time and the kids left with contentment and fond memories. The adults left with a sense of pride and relaxation giving us something to look forward to in the years to come.
